No abstract proposal may exceed 350 words in the main body.
Proposals for abstract publication in the special issue of BMC Health Services Research (Thomson Reuters JCR® ISI, Impact factor 1.843- 2 year; 2.548- 5-year; Scopus H Index 83, Q1 SCImago Journal & Country Rank 2017- SJR 1.15)must be submitted in English (United Kingdom), although at the congress you can present orally or in poster format in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
Please note that abstracts submitted for consideration in the BMC Health Services Research supplement must be in scope for the journal.
Aims and scope: BMC Health Services Research is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that considers articles on all aspects of health services research, including delivery of care, management of health services, assessment of healthcare needs, measurement of outcomes, allocation of healthcare resources, evaluation of different health markets and health services organizations, international comparative analysis of health systems, health economics and the impact of health policies and regulations.
The content of the proposals must be original. Full paper versions of the abstracts must not have been previously published or currently be under consideration for publication.
If you are unable to attend CISBETI2019, you may choose to submit your proposal exclusively for abstract publication in the special issue of BMC Health Services Research.
Proposals must have a maximum of 350 words (excluding authors, affiliations, title and keywords).
The following structure is suggested in the body of the text: Introduction, Objective (s), Method, Results and Conclusions.
All proposals will be evaluated by the scientific committee reviewers of CISBETI2019. This evaluation will generate one of three options: 1 - Proposal accepted; 2- Proposal accepted conditionally; 3- Proposal rejected.
Please note that submission of an abstract to the Congress and acceptance by the Congress Committee does not guarantee publication in a BMC journal. Abstracts that are selected by the Congress Committee will be submitted to the Editor of BMC Health Services Research who will then make a final editorial decision on whether each abstract will be published in the supplement. The Congress Organisers will inform the authors of whether or not their abstract will be published.
The expected time for each oral presentation is about 8 minutes. At the end of each panel, a time will be reserved for discussion.
